These are some daily exercises I do to help my vagus nerve and calm down <3
1.) Hum for a couple minutes - this activates the vocal cords and vagus nerve! If you want you could also sing or chant.
2.) Give yourself a Hug - place your right hand over your heart, and wrap your left arm around to hug your right shoulder. Give yourself a squeeze! (It feels so comforting)
3.) Butterfly taps for bilateral stimulation - Youtube link
Bilateral stimulation helps to calms the nervous system. Do them for a couple of minutes while breathing deeply.
